HERITAGE WINERY
Our heritage winery is an adobe building that dates from approximately 1870. In the context of the Itata Valley it is one of the few wineries that have managed to preserve a big part of its architectural heritage along with its winemaking
traditions. The massive walls of mud and straw are up to one meter thick and have ideal thermal inertia. This allows the wine to be stored at a stable temperature throughout the day.
The monumental vats made of raulí are a fundamental part of the winemaking process. Our wines are kept in them for a year. This aging in raulí wood, a native Chilean tree, makes our wines truly unique in the world.
